Fun in the sun!

Cape Cod Spring is finally here! After such a crazy, snowy winter, we, like many of you, patiently await the lazy, 85 degree summer days at the beach. And our just rewards for such a trying day will be steamed or fried at our favorite clam shack where they’re pulling the chairs off the tables for the season as we speak.

You can’t do much better than summer on the Cape. Why else would so many people brave the dreaded traffic? It’s simple: whether you live here year round, or just visit in the summer, as soon as you cross the bridge it just feels different. I don’t think anyone can explain it exactly, but in that instant your shoulders get a little more relaxed, and your breathing gets slower and deeper. Perhaps being almost completely surrounded by ocean is what creates this tangible energy that lifts your spirits and relieves all tension. Or maybe you just know you're going to create some great memories while you’re here. And that’s why we’re here - to document and preserve those Cape Cod summer memories!

Through our photography and video businesses we have had the pleasure of working with many people, and we’ve found that visitors and locals alike have an affection for Cape Cod unlike any place we’ve been. Hardly a week goes by that we don’t hear about or experience for ourselves some of the many things that make the Cape a desirable place to be. Rich with history and natural beauty, as well as a vibrant art and music community, Cape Cod is a treasure trove of things to do and places to see.

In our weekly postings of “Clough’s-Lines” we will bring you Cape Cod through a local’s point of view. We’ll take you on a trip to new adventure, and let you in on the best kept secrets. This is Cape Cod as we see it. Our goal is to inspire you to create your own Cape Cod adventure. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you, and hope you will share yours with us!
